General Reminders
Weather Information: Please check with local TV stations CBS 3, 6 ABC, NBC 10 or FOX 29 for school closings, delays or early dismissals due to weather or power outages. You can sign up to receive a text alert on your phone via NBC 10 HERE. Note: we are listed as St. Paul’s – Oreland. We also try to post closure/delay information on our Facebook page and provide our status on our office’s outgoing voicemail message (215-233-4333).
Illness: Remember, children must be fever or vomit-free for 24 hours before returning to school. Sick children will be sent home in accordance with the policies outlined in the parent handbook.
Tuition: Your tuition is a flat monthly rate and is due on the first day of each month.
Toys/Miscellaneous Items from Home: Please leave toys at home (except for “Show and Tell” days).
Clothing: Please send your child to school in “play clothes.” Check their spare clothes bins for any needed replacements. Dress appropriately for the weather; we go outside almost every day! Please label everything.
Lunches: For those children who stay for lunch, we ask that you label the lunch box clearly with a permanent marker. Also, please include two napkins and a spoon if your child will need one.
Snacks: We encourage nutritious snacks (e.g. fruit, cheese, crackers, yogurt, cereal). Please sign up monthly to bring in a healthy snack. Visit choosemyplate.gov for information and tips on nutrition for kids.
Playground Area: The staff of St. Paul’s cannot be responsible for siblings and/or friends left in the playground. Mom/Dad or babysitter must be with them at pickup time. Thank you for keeping everyone safe.
Drop-Off Time: While teachers love to talk with parents, we ask that you not use drop-off time to “conference.” At 9:00 AM, teachers need to focus on greeting all the children and starting the day. If you need to speak with a teacher, please drop them a note and they can call you during “special” time or another time convenient for you.
Pickup Time: Please pick your children up promptly at your contracted time.
Emergency Contact Form: We are required to have a current copy of emergency contact information for your child on file at all times. You will be asked to complete and sign this form at the beginning of the school year and again mid- year. You may complete the form HERE.
Child Health Form: We are required to have a current health report for your child on file at all times. If you need an extra copy to take to the doctor for a well visit, you can download and print it HERE.
Mailing List: If you’d like to be added to our mailing list, sign up HERE.
